Behold, the mighty planet Jupiter, home to the Sublimated Ones, who dwell in cities that float like hives among the stars. These citadels, vast and imposing, are more akin to colossal ships, orbiting the planet with an autonomy that requires but a scant few resources to maintain their soaring altitude.

Jupiter's surface, however, is anything but solid, rendering the construction of structures or the extraction of materials impossible. And yet, even among its myriad satellites, one may stumble upon edifices of divine reverence, such as Io, where the Great Empress herself saw fit to erect a monument honoring her forebears.

For the stalwart protectors of Jupiter's atmosphere, there exist armories and barracks, where they hone their martial prowess and stand ready to repel any and all threats to their world. Behold the majesty of Jupiter, a planet of wonder, where the skies themselves are both sanctuary and battlefield. The Sublimated Ones:

The Sublimated Ones are a powerful military faction functioning like a beehive. The Great Empress is the symbolic figure that guides the life of the Sublimated Ones, with the military junta in power governing the faction until the birth of a new Empress. The Sublimated Ones are a self-sustaining nation that uses gas as a currency of exchange and lives in almost complete autonomy. The Empress is the sole object of the Sublimated Ones' adoration, and all other religions are despised. The five Great Commandments of the Empress are the constitution that guides the life of the Sublimated Ones, with the First Building being the most important and sacred structure housing the Palace of Justice and the residence of the Empress's descendants. The Sublimated Ones tend to remain neutral in conflicts between other planets, but they can be bellicose when they perceive a potential threat, using a system of preemptive attack.

The Sublimated Ones are primarily a military faction that fiercely defends its planet and resources and attacks all ships that approach Kerin without authorization. They are organized into squadrons, battalions, and regiments, all under the command of a general. The most important figures in the faction are the High Generals of the armies, who also oversee the faction's functioning and govern the Sublimates Ones' lives in the Empress's absence. The Sublimated Ones have a strained relationship with Isker due to repeated incursions, which has contributed to a climate of tension, and they generally have a neutral relationship with Gadara and Alkyr, with occasional bartering and trade. They have a neutral relationship with Triton, with some Great Merchants partnering with Kerinian leaders.
