Illan Knafou (Co-Founder & CEO): "I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades with a life goal of creating positive impacts through the projects I lead or support.
To introduce myself, I would start by sharing my primary passions: basketball, thriller movies/books, and new technologies. However, my greatest passion lies in video games. During my childhood, I was primarily a computer gamer and spent countless hours playing my favorite role-playing game, Dofus. Over time, I have expanded my interests and have explored many games in Steam's extensive catalog.
I have been involved in the blockchain industry for two years now and continue to learn and innovate every day. I am committed to identifying solid and viable projects for the long-term growth and development of web3.
Driven by my passions, I pursued a degree in AI & machine learning from Télécom Paris and later obtained a master's degree in management from HEC Paris business school. I then further specialized in entrepreneurship and blockchain by completing an MSc at Polytechnique, a renowned French engineering school.
I thrive on taking on new challenges and continuously learning. Human Divergence is a perfect opportunity for me to combine my passions with a meaningful challenge. It is a world where I can contribute my skills and knowledge to create something truly special."
Victor (Co-Founder & COO): "From a young age, I have been passionate about entrepreneurship and gaming. At the age of 14, I created a resell website for Fifa Ultimate Team cards, which allowed me to combine these two passions. When I was 17, I founded my first profitable business, Limited Resell, a platform for selling limited-edition sneakers through social networks. I successfully managed and grew the company's Instagram account, which reached 140,000 active followers.
Driven by my interest in entrepreneurship and computer science, I pursued a double degree between Télécom Paris and HEC Business School. Outside of my corporate pursuits, I am also passionate about soccer, tennis, video games, and blockchain technology. As an avid Xbox player, some of my favorite games include FIFA (FUT), CoD, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, and Far Cry.
In 2019, I stumbled upon an article in a business newspaper that introduced me to NFTs for the first time. Initially struggling to understand the potential of this technology, I joined my first Discord projects to learn more. As my interest grew, I began coding in Solidity and even developed the first smart contracts for Human Divergence.
For me, Human Divergence represents an opportunity to create a platform that fully leverages the potential of NFTs and blockchain technology in video games. This requires an on-chain game logic and NFTs with on-chain properties that can vary based on the skills of their holders, which I believe will offer the P2E community the NFT project it truly deserves."
Gael Gao (Art Director): "I describe myself as a versatile artist, having worked in various fields such as architecture, import/export trade, and assistant management in an aeronautical training school.
My passion for the arts started at a young age, as I drew frequently, leading me to enroll in the National School of Fine Arts in Lyon in 2007. Later on, I pursued architecture by studying at the National School of Architecture of Montpellier and obtaining a regional planning license.
During the pandemic, I decided to focus on my passion for Graphic Arts. As a painter and draftsman, I have participated in exhibitions and completed commissions for both individuals and businesses.
In early 2021, I discovered crypto-art and became interested in Web3. This unique approach to the relationship between the artwork and the audience, coupled with my fascination with new technologies, led me to connect with fellow enthusiasts in this exciting field.
I am currently working at Human Divergence, where I am able to express my creativity by designing the graphic universe of the project alongside a talented team. As a video game enthusiast since my youth, I have always been drawn to the artwork and concept art that accompany these games, particularly RPGs from Square Enix, FPS games like CoD and Battlefield, poetic games like Shadow of Colossus and Okami, and fighting games like Street of Rage, Street Fighters, and Marvel VS Capcom.
With my love for video games, art, and blockchain, I strongly believe that Play-to-Earn will soon become a vital aspect of the industry. I am thrilled to see my creations come to life and bring joy to players."
Grégoire de Framond (Game Director): "I specialize in video games, and I am proficient in all aspects of game development. However, I particularly enjoy working as part of a team to create something truly magical :) My favorite genre is FPS, and I have even competed in a few games. I take my role very seriously, always striving to deliver the most enjoyable and engaging gaming experiences possible.
In my opinion, two things that will continue to grow in popularity in the near future are video games (yes, even more!) and blockchain technology. By combining these two, we are able to offer a unique and exciting opportunity for players to not only have fun, but also earn cryptocurrency. Those who get involved early on will be in a great position!
Creating awesome games is my passion, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be working on the Human Divergence project. The team is fantastic - we are all highly motivated and skilled, and I have no doubt that our game will be a huge success. Keep an eye out, because we are going to blow you away very soon!"
Elias El Manouzi (3D Graphic Designer): "From a young age, I've always had a highly creative mind. It began with drawing, where I would reproduce what I saw on TV before progressing to creating my own stories and characters. I soon developed an interest in video games, drawn in by the freedom they provided. RPGs and their open worlds gave the impression of an infinite, fantastic universe, and this inspired me enormously.
When I discovered Minecraft, I found a platform that allowed me to give free rein to my imagination! This led me to 3D design, where I discovered software such as Cinema4D, Blender, and others, which enabled me to develop characters, objects, and environments. Through self-teaching and passionate dedication, I was able to acquire the skills necessary to contribute to Human Divergence. Having worked on NFT projects before, Human Divergence represents a step up in terms of the depth and professionalism of the project, which is a major milestone for my career.
As a lover of nature and sport, my work as a 3D artist allows me to strike a balance between a fulfilling personal life and a fulfilling professional life. I am eagerly anticipating feedback from players on the universe we are creating!"
Sacha Riviere (Video Game, UI/UX Designer):

Drawing inspiration from my globetrotting adventures, I've created a UI that transports players to unimaginable realms, seamlessly blending functionality and beauty. With the rhythmic touch of house music, every interaction becomes a groove, making the game come alive. And my DIY spirit ensures that every pixel is carefully crafted, providing an immersive and flawless experience.
So get ready, because with "Human Divergence," you'll embark on a journey where your choices shape your destiny. I invite you to dive into a world where my passion for travel, house music, and DIY collide, delivering a gaming experience that will leave you breathless.
Thank you for joining me on this extraordinary adventure. Together, let's push the boundaries of video game design and make "Human Divergence" a legend in its own right."
Chris Woodrum (Game Developer): "I'm an ordinary person who wants to make a positive impact in everything I do. Some of my passions include science fiction movies, art, fast cars, billiards, family, and creating things.
When I was younger, I had a strong passion for video games, which eventually led me to become a video game developer. But I didn't stop there. I also became a 3D artist, sound effects creator, animator, character artist, and anything else involved in game development. Along the way, I discovered blockchain games and NFTs.
As a well-rounded game developer, I joined the Human Divergence team because they share my vision. We can combine our skills to create something wonderful.
In the past, I have owned 11 different businesses, four of which were online. My game development company, Digital Corpses, has been working behind the scenes in the industry. Recently, I've been putting effort into creating a full-scale AAA-style game and focusing on the blockchain side of things. Human Divergence and I will be working together on a project that I'm sure people will love.
Watch out world, here we come!"
Chloé Morin (Narrative & Game Designer): "Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by the power of storytelling and the way it can transport people to other worlds and realities. Whether it's through books, movies, or video games, I love the idea of creating a space where people can escape and find freedom.
As a game designer, I specialize in crafting immersive universes that draw players in and allow them to experience the thrill of adventure and discovery. With Human Divergence, I am responsible for creating the world and its rich history, as well as the various factions that players will encounter.
After discovering my passion for video games, I enrolled in a specialized game design program, and I am currently in my final year of my master's degree. As part of my apprenticeship, I am excited to be working on the Human Divergence project, which allows me to combine my love of storytelling with my technical skills as a designer.
As a fan of sci-fi, heroic fantasy, and all kinds of fictional stories, I find inspiration in a wide range of media, from books to movies to video games. I play a lot of games myself and enjoy exploring different genres, including FPS, MOBA, hack'n slash, and, of course, open-world RPGs (in my opinion, Witcher 3 is the greatest game of all time!)."
Maxime Nottin (Lead Moderator): "I am primarily responsible for managing the Discord server and all related tools such as bots and Crew³.
As part of the generation that grew up in the digital era and witnessed the major technological advancements of the last decade, I have been a gamer since I was around 8 years old, starting with DS games. I quickly became fascinated with the gaming world and spent several wonderful years playing console games that have left a lasting impression on me, such as R2R, GTA V, Destiny, R6, Fortnite, and Assassins Creed Unity.
At the age of 13, I switched to PC and discovered a whole new realm of possibilities and diverse experiences. Along with playing popular games, I also delved into programming, cybersecurity, and the multitude of Web2 ecosystems. When I learned about Web3 and the world of cryptocurrencies in 2020, I eagerly jumped in and had the opportunity to meet many successful people, including the team at Human Divergence.
Aside from my passion for Web3, I have a wide range of interests, including football, basketball, F1, geopolitics, history, and technology. I love continuously discovering new things.
Currently, I am still quite young and studying to enter a major French school. However, I am fortunate enough to be part of the Human Divergence project, which has been a highly rewarding experience. It is a pleasure to be involved in a P2E project and contribute to its development alongside an incredible community.
You can count on me for the future!"
Jérémy Vial & Ayman Berriga (Community Managers)
"Our experience is rather varied; in addition to having a high school diploma in Science, we also both completed a license in Communication and Marketing in Lyon. Then, we’ve worked for several firms to invest in crypto, before the last bull-run.
A few years back, we started getting into cryptocurrency as investor, and we were immediately enthralled. We are at the beginning of a new era, and the blockchain technology is already starting to change process. We immediately realized as we started reading up on all the stories about the Web3 and the blockchain. After a few months, we were offered the opportunity to work on various Web3 projects, and we’ve been committed to work full-time in this industry ever since.
In addition, we have a pretty healthy life (heard somewhere it’s important…) thus we’re addicted to sport such as tennis, gym, football and good food (Jeremy is such good chef).
We are brand new to Human Divergence but we already love the team and the community! We are really looking forward to building something special!"
